Hanover. One topic at two trade fairs: Deutsche Messe is taking up the topic of mobility of the future at two events at once next May. "Our new real estate fair Real Estate Arena and the Micro Mobility Expo will overlap on 19 May 2022 at the exhibition grounds. The theme Mobility of the Future builds the content bridge between the two events," said Daniela Stack, Head of New Business at Deutsche Messe AG on Tuesday in Hannover.
Stack: "We are creating synergies in terms of content and promoting dialogue among all those who belong at the table in the discussion surrounding the mobility turnaround. We will make special offers for exhibitors and visitors interested in both events."
The Real Estate Arena will begin on 18 May 2022 in Hall 4 at the exhibition centre. The industry get-together for the real estate sector in the north will look at future mobility from the perspective of real estate and neighbourhood development as well as urban planning. "If the mobility revolution is to succeed, it must be embedded in a larger context. This is where urban planners, architects, investors and municipalities are equally called upon," said project manager Hartwig von Saß. "In the discussion about the mobility of the future, the debate between cars versus bicycles versus pedestrians only leads further into a dead end. The transport turnaround will only succeed if we work together."
"The micromobility expo will bring the perspective of technological and infrastructural solutions. Especially in new neighbourhoods, in urban districts and in city centres, intelligent mobility concepts and the use of micromobiles can advance the traffic turnaround," explained MME project manager Florian Eisenbach. "With the trade fair double, we want to bring mobility experts, public administration, project developers and scientists to Hanover who belong at the table when planning mobility of the future. In the cooperation of the two trade fairs, we want to shape the future in an interdisciplinary way and let the experts from the relevant fields develop solutions."
